Meet Delanie Griffin! She is currently pursuing a degree in Apparel Design and Product Development at Baylor and has been the Dapper Bear Clothiers intern this semester. It's about time we recognized her through the newsletter!
Born and raised in Midland, Texas, Delanie stated, "my fascination and admiration for fashion began in my adolescence. I learned early on that fashion is an illustrative canvas by which we can express our creative and imaginative sides."
As the Dapper Bear Intern, she has worked on new product and design ideas and has been involved in finding manufacturers to bring her designs to life.
Mrs. Hassell, one of the owners of DBC remarks, "She has been diligent in her work and bringing our clients the best and most unique products."
One of her new designs is a can cooler, which will be released before Christmas. You will want to watch for the release of this product to make sure you get one for your favorite Baylor fan.
Delanie cannot wait to share her designs with the Baylor community and continue to learn and grow in this industry. "I have treasured interning for Dapper Bear and have learned so much about designing and what it takes to run a business," Delanie says.
As she gears up for her last semester at Baylor before she graduates in May of 2021, we thank Delanie for her hard work and new ideas, and encourage her to continue pursuing work in this industry that she loves and has unique talent for.
According to Mrs. Hassell, "Delanie has been a true asset to Dapper Bear Clothiers this semester as our intern."
Thank you, Delanie!
