Intern Spotlight: Victoria Nelon
Victoria Nelon was our intern during the Spring semester of 2021 and graduated in May of 2021 with her degree in Apparel Design and Product Development. She was a great asset to this team.
Victoria was born and raised in McKinney, Texas and always knew she wanted to be in the fashion industry. She learned how to sew at a young age and got to continue her journey of fashion while studying at Baylor. She loves anything that involves photography, designing, sewing, and crafting.
As the Dapper Bear intern, she worked on the new Plaid Bear Popsocket for us and contributed different design ideas on how to grow the company.
“I have really enjoyed being creative on the business side and learning how to talk with manufactures and do a product from start to finish,” Victoria says. She has done a terrific job balancing her last semester and doing everything in a timely manner.
Victoria will be going to grad school for Fashion Styling, Creative Direction, and Digital Content at Istituto Marangoni in London, England in the Fall. She cannot wait to see what her future holds and is excited to start the next chapter of her life.
